I've got too much music around the house that I haven't even gotten around to listening to, so I typically don't pick up random CDs. The other week though, I ran across a free copy of a CD by a band called Dr. Krump Nazty. With a name like that they have to be awesome, right? Right. I did a little research online and found these guys on myspace. From what I can tell they are a bunch of high school guys having fun making up beats, crafting rhymes and recording it with the aid of a computer. They go by names such as: Dr. Drew, Krump Deez, B Nazty, Mt. Fuji, and Pablito. The cd opens up with 'Intro to the Intro' and leads straight in to 'Intro'. Other songs include 'Geist' (I'm assuming these guys live and go to school in the Geist area) where they rap, with obvious sarcasm, about the hardships of growing up in the neighborhood.
