My roommates and I in college loved the Golden Girls. There were four of us, so at times we would sit around and choose which Golden Girl each of us was. I was always the oldest one (I can't remember for sure at the moment, but I think her name was Sophia?) and each of my roommates were appointed to the Golden Girl they most resembled. A friend and I were sitting around last night talking about how excited we both are for the upcoming Sex in the City movie and it hit me: The ladies from Sex in the City are the new Golden Girls. So which Golden Girl are you? Which Sex in the City character are you?

Love this post. It just so happens that my daughter did her high school term paper on the "Golden Girls" and that was one of the comparisons that she made. She also has all the DVD's of the seasons that they have available. It's rather funny that she prefers the Goldern Girls and I prefer Sex in the City! By the way her teacher loved her paper and she received an A.
Plum forgot my character. The Golder Girls I'd say Rose, though I would prefer to be Blanche. Sex and the City I took the quiz and it said Carrie, and she is my least favorite. I would prefer to be Mirands or Charlotte. I realize there is really no reasoning in the camparisons they are just the characters I like best.
I am so Blanche from the Golden Girls, and part Carrie, for her fashion sense and silliness, and part Miranda for her pessimism. The movie is coming out May 30, 2008 for those who didnt know! I am the BIGGEST fan!
