Is there one particular venue that you tend to gravitate toward to see movies? If so, why? What makes that theater your favorite? Is it the seating? The staff? The popcorn? The movie selection...or, something else?
I can't answer...until I visit the new AMC Castleton this week!
I went to the AMC in Castleton for the first time Friday and it's awesome. By far the best theater in Indianapolis. It's like watching movies in HD, I've never seen a clearer picture. The seating is great.
Key Cinemas,Opionated Owner,Oldschool 50's@60's horro sci-fi films friday and saturday nights, great prices and REAL indie films(sorry Landmark)
The new AMC in Castleton is great. Saw Charlie Wilson's War on Xmas Eve. The picture quality, sound, and seating is outstanding. My new favorite theater. All they need now is adult beverages on tap.
Key Cinemas is the best place to take an elderly or handicapped person. It's all on one level -- that is a tremendous help, and so is the close and convenient parking. If you walk with assistance of another person or wheelchair, you'll find it much easier to get in and out of this theater. Oh yeah, the movies are great, also.
I like UA Circle Centre because I can walk to it, but they don't always show the movies I want to see.
Metropolis has an excellent theater with all digital. Hopefully I'll be going to the new one at the Castleton Mall soon as well. I used to go to the Keresotes at 31 and 465 on the south side a lot when I lived on the east side, but I'm on the west siiiiiiiiide now haha.
I can't believe I'm the only one that knows the best kept secret in town. AMC Castleton allows you to bring in 'outside' food and drink. Yep, thats right, go to Speedway and get the 99cent icee and bring it in, hit the TacoBell drive thru then hit the show. It's the best! Your food can't be so smelly it bothers other people but I've brought sushi, TacoBell, Auntie Annies and enjoyed them all.
I like UA of Circle Centre, mostly because it's rarely if ever crowded so I don't have to worry about those awful people who think it's okay to talk during the movie.
