DEMIRICOUS returns to Indianapolis to play the last weekly Punk Rock Night of 2007 at The Melody Inn on Saturday December 29th. Joining them will be TRENCHES, THE DREAM IS DEAD and THIN FEVERS.

The Melody Inn is located at 3826 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN and the doors will open at 9:00pm.

$7.00 presale tickets are available online right now under this link: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/24917 and tickets are also available at both Vibes locations as well as Missing Link Records.

Demiricous offers up an unrelenting mixture of pure American metal and thrash. These dudes love old thrash but nothing like that was coming out anymore so they decided to start a band of their own on Halloween night 2001. About six month's later guitarist Ben Parrish, formerly of Upheaval, was asked to join the band and that's when the guys started to get serious about the project. Fast forward to 2005, the bands self-released EP caught the attention Metal Blade Records and landed them a record deal. Since the bands inception they have already played with the likes of Slayer, Ringworm, Exodus, Malevolent Creation, Extol, King Diamond, The Black Dahlia Murder, Obituary, and played the main stage at the infamous New England Hardcore and Metal Fest where they won over the audience with their brand of no frills metal.

No frills metal is, as the band puts it, "No f---in' hair dos, ex-girlfriends or lame s---, just good f---in' times and raging metal." There is almost a raw punk rock vibe to the material on the bands' Metal Blade Records releases. "Style-wise and riff-wise we call our brand of music 'Street Metal' which is totally cheesy but f--- it, it has to do with tough rippin' ass riffs and pummeling drums and having nothing to do with whatever is cool."

Also appearing is the band Trenches, fronted by former Haste The Day singer Jimmy Ryan and backed up by Phil Hook from Llange and Joel Lauver of many projects including Anapparatus, Kentucky Waterfall, The Unraveling Complex, Spicolie, The Honesty and Jet Noise.

Rounding out the bill are Indianapolis hardcore legends The Dream Is Dead (who share their drummer with Demiricous) and alt kings Thin Fevers (who were part of the indy.com video contest).
