Three Indianapolis men were shot at a Halloween party on the Near Eastside late Thursday night.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police said the shooting happened when a fight broke out on the 1500 block of North Olney Street just before midnight.

Police said the fight was in front of a home that was hosting a Halloween party.

Charles Gilbert, 20, was shot in the side, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Rodney Taylor, 27, was shot in the right thigh. Thomas Staten, 21, was shot in the back.

The men were taken to Methodist Hospital and were expected to survive, police said.
