NEW YORK (AP) -- Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way - and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, tells OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge."It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she says. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday."As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody," she says. "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine says."She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears says. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, says: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."She says her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of the popular Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana - "so it can have a normal family life."The third season of "Zoey 101" wraps up Jan. 4."I haven't spoken to (Nickelodeon) personally, but they have always been so great to me over the past years and have given me so many opportunities."What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex?"I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she says. Hilarious. Maybe if Lynne Spears had spent more time teaching her kids common sense, and less time dancing/singing, they wouldn't be America's favorite screw-ups (no pun intended).
Why isn't Casey Aldridge arrested for statutory rape? For a 19 year old to have sex with a 16 year old is against the law! He should be arrested, jailed, and have to register as a child molester.

I dont agree that he should be arrested she knew exactly what she was doing, she did not come out and say I was raped, she said I am pregnant. Her mom knew that she had a boyfriend and obviously she was spending "alone" time with him. They're rich...they will figure out something.

Are you kidding me! Her not so bright sister already has brought 2 kids in this world and awaiting a third and now Jamie Lynne is expecting a child at 16! I hope that Disney drops Zoey 101 as Disney shows are supposed to be whoelsome family shows in which 16 year old girls do not get pregnant! She reports the father a long time boyfried? She's 16, how long could he have been her boyfriend?? I know my children will no longer watch Zoey 101! With all the money she makes you;d think she could afford to go to the doctor and get birth control if she cant control herself.

This was obviously not a career move or publicity stunt. I wonder how she will pick herself up from this one, have we heard the last of Jamie Lynn Spears. Oh the Horror!

In Louisiana, where Spears lives, it is a misdemeanor for someone age 17 to 19 to have consensual sex with someone age 15 to 17 if the difference between their ages is more than two years.

Morpheus .. It depends on where the baby was concieved. Whether they had sex in California (where the show is filmed) or in Louisiana... considering the way Lynne handled the Brittney episode. I doubt anything like that will be done... Of course Jamie says she put herself in this situation so it was obviously consensual anyway...
