Wondering if anyone knows about the new 'Southern Italian Pizza Place" called Tomato Pie at the corner of 96th & College? See the new sign and wondering when it might open and if this is going to be an independent owned pizza place? I am glad that they are putting another option up there. Hope it is GREAT!!!! Will get backto you with any new updates!!
Due to a tip and great review from NUVO magazine, I tried a pizza today at the new TOMATO PIE (yes, at 96th and College), and it was simply outstanding! It was perfectly made, and the freshest ingredients were used. NUVO and Tomato Pie's menu prepare you for true "Southern Italian pizza..." and it definitely rings authentic in my book. The pizzas do come with a VERY thin crust, however, so be forewarned. The prices are very fair for such great quality ($7.25 for a 10", and $14.50 for a 14").
