When they do the montage of musicians who passed away this year at the next Grammy Awards ceremony: Ike Turner or Dan Fogelberg?

I'm going with Dan. Too many people won't want to be caught on camera clapping for a confirmed wife-beater, although Ike was by far the superior, more important artist of the two.

Who would you put your hands together for?

Fogelberg for sure will get the most applause. What if it had been Ike Turner and Phil Spector? Who would have gotten the most (if any) applause then?

My claps go for Dan.

And it's only my opinion that Ike was much better than Dan of course. But I think a fair amount of folks would agree with me.

Fogelberg: Master of the deep folk-acoustic bearded dress-shirt-with-no-collar and probably had a spirit-catcher hanging from his rear-view mirror sensitive creator of gatefold-album covers made from recycled paper-products multi-hyphenate singer-songwriter dude.

RIP Dan Fogelberg...had the pleasure of seeing him at The Murat the last tour he did before being diagnosed with cancer. I had wanted to see him forever and am glad that I got the chance when I did...you just never know how long someone will be on this earth...but the music will live on forever. "Longer" came out during my first real serious breakup in high school(OK I'll admit it...I'm old)...I remember just playing that song over and over and over and crying my eyes out...think I may cry now....
