Chris and I have both expressed our can't-waitness about the new Batman film, and I've also added "Iron Man," but what upcoming films are stoking your geek fires? There's plenty coming up: A new Indiana Jones, Cloverfield, an Edward Norton-led "Hulk." Which one will have you sitting in the theater, legs jittering as the lights go down?
Have you seen the new trailer for "The Dark Knight?" Wow.
The one and only important film remaining for me in this mostly disappointing movie year is "There Will Be Blood."
I'm looking forward to "Sweeney Todd."
For the holiday season, I plan on seeing at some point and time: Alien VS Predator 2 National Treasure 2 The Dewey Cox Story
For summer: Iron Man Indiana Jones 4 The Dark Knight The Hulk
I work in the school system, so I'll have two GLORIOUS weeks off work...and I definitely plan on seeing a few movies during that time...regardless of the critics' warnings!!
P.S. I Love You, Charlie Wilso's War, National Treasure, Walk Hard (maybe), Sweeney Todd, Bucket List, Water Horse...
Off the top of my head!
The Hobbit! Rock on LOTR nerds!
Walk Hard (Love John C. Reilly) Martin Scorscese (SP?) Documentary on the Rolling Stones There Will Be Blood (I mean P.T. Anderson gave us Boogie Nights!)
Dude. Sweeney Todd. Blood. Lots of blood. And funny too! Do not go if you don't enjoy seeing rivers of blood flowing.
I was looking forward to Sweeney Todd, until I heard them all sing. I'll stick with the stage show, thanks. {It's coming to Cincinnati and Chicago!}
National Treasure 2 for Christmas Eve. Iron Man as soon as it's out.
Batman, Batman, and Batman.
Am looking forward to seeing Sweeney Todd, although it will likely have to wait until I finish the holiday visit with the family. (Don't think they'll appreciate the dark comedy quite as much.)
Have you seen the new trailer for "The Dark Knight?" Wow. The one and only ...
Like Mags, I'm also looking forward to There Will Be Blood. The response so far has been terrific and I'm excited to see Daniel Day Lewis whose performances are often mesmerizing.
I'm also curious to see Edward Norton's portrayal of Dr. Bruce Banner in the new Incredible Hulk movie.
Though it won't be coming out for quite awhile, Spike Lee is working on a James Brown movie. That should be pretty cool.
Definitely The Hobbit and Cloverfield. I was really excited about Sweeney Todd... but then I saw it... and realized the whole storyline, along with the music (which is the best part), is lost in the over-use of fake blood. QQ.
X-files 2,The Dark Knight(which I got to work on!)and of course "Jessica Simpson's" Major Movie Star...insert sarcasim here
