I got my first experiences with a PSP when I went to Rockton, Illinois for a three day vacation about three weeks ago. One of the people I went to spend time is an avid beta tester for Sony and he gets betas in the mail periodically from them...to test them online, like Socom. Well...it was fascinating playing games such as Tiger Woods 2007 and NCAA College Football 2007 (Nope..he didnt have the 2008 versions..yet) on a handheld. He also had a Playstation 3 and a Wii, but didnt get a chance to play them.
Things about the trip I loved was the following:
1)Prime Time in Illinois. Who wouldnt love a chance to see Scrubs an hour earlier in Prime Time?? Some newcasts were at 9pm (at UPN and WB affiliates) and others at 10pm and then the Tonight Show at 10:35pm. I hadnt experienced this since I had WNBC, WABC, and WCBS when I had satellite programming in 1999. It was also thrilling back in 1999 getting the Indy 500 live off of WABC.
2)The PSP was internet ready. However, since the PSP doesnt accept cookies, surfing to get Hotmail email was impossible.
3)The meals were all made organically. The couple swears by organic foods. They usually go to the local Hilander store there in Rockton, which is actually a Kroger under a different name.
