Have you noticed that Indy's gay film fest has a venue change for this year's screenings? The festival is moving from Key Cinemas on the southside to Landmark's Keystone Art Theater at the Fashion Mall. I'm not sure I like the move. There's more screens, sure, but I'm going to miss the Key Cinemas parking lot tent party. Check the schedule: www.indylgbtfilmfest.com
It'll be interesting to see if the venue change for Indy's gay film fest will boost attendance. Key Cinemas has a certain, shall we say, character about it, but turnout may be larger and more diverse at the Keystone Art Theater. Time will tell.
By character, do you mean seats snatched from dumpsters outside other theaters and occasional crickets hiding out in the rafters?
So I ended up catching one of the films toward the end of the LGBT festival, and despite the longer drive, it was worth it. The ambiance was so much better and the house was packed.

maybe you'd be more comfortable watching Underdog at the local Mini Mall Theater
Key Cinemas Rocks!
I'm sure the good people of the Lgbt(sellouts!) had a great showings(sellouts!) and I hope that they(sellouts!)continue to have a wonderful(sellouts!)relationaship with the Landmark(sellouts!)
My vote for best film is Opening night feature - Itty Bitty Titty Committee, and yes I have the T-shirt. it screened at SXSW in March.
