Dean Phelps is a local singer/songwriter who I've known for a couple of years now and it's been a joy to get to know him.

He plays a blend of traditional, contemporary, and original folk music that can't be beat.

Lazy Daze coffeehouse in Irvington is a largely undiscovered treasure on the near East side.

This coming Saturday morning, the 15th of December, Dean will be appearing at Lazy Daze from 10AM till Noon. It's a good place to go, hear some good music, sip some coffee, and escape the holiday madness for a while.
