All is not lost for parents and youngsters on a quest to get tickets to Sunday's "Hannah Montana" concert at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Local Radio Disney affiliate WRDZ-FM (98.3) will give away six tickets at two locations Saturday, and radio station WLHK-FM (97.1) has challenged seven men to dress as the female Disney Channel character and scramble through a kiddie pool filled with soda pop to find free tickets.

WLHK's "Hannah Man-tana" contest will be broadcast after 7 a.m. Friday on the "Wank & O'Brien Show."

The male contestants, who were selected earlier this week, are on the hunt for a single winning red "H" among red poker chips covered in red liquid.

"The minimum requirement is dress, wig and heels," WLHK promotions director Susan Wells said of the contest's wardrobe requirements. "For these tickets, I think people will do just about anything they have to do to get their kid to the show."

The winner will receive three tickets, which Wells suspects will be split between a dad, his daughter and one of her friends.

The "Best of Both Worlds" tour features 15-year-old singer-actress Miley Cyrus performing her own songs as well as songs identified with her television character Hannah Montana.

On Saturday, Radio Disney affiliate WRDZ will give away two pairs of concert tickets in conjunction with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian St.

Mitchel Musso, one of Cyrus's television co-stars, will sign autographs at the museum's gift shop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drawings for the concert tickets are scheduled at 1 and 3 p.m.

From noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, WRDZ will register Hannah fans at a Radio Shack store in Washington Square Mall, 10202 E. Washington St. One pair of concert tickets will be given away at 1 p.m.

If you are shut out of the concert that resale brokers have described as the hottest ticket in the basketball arena's eight-year history, members of supporting act the Jonas Brothers will meet fans for free Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at a Circuit City store in Castleton, 5410 E. 82nd St. They're due onstage at Conseco Fieldhouse at 4 p.m.

In September, local brokerage company Circle City Tickets listed a second-row ticket for Sunday's concert at $1,840 on the resale market. On Thursday, the company's Web site had an asking price of $980 for a seat in the arena's lower level.

In November, "The Bob and Tom Show" on radio station WFBQ-FM (94.7) auctioned four tickets to the show, backstage passes and other amenities to raise funds for the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent. An anonymous bidder paid $13,300 to win the exclusive package.

Hmmm...he's so positive about FAMILY singing together...but, ours couldn't sit together at his daughter's concert!!

We're ALL Hannah Montana fans, but one of my daughters is a fan club member. So, of course, knowing they would be having a pre-sale for tickets, I fully intended to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, there was a 4 ticket limit. I have 5 daughters. I'd need 6. So...I decided not to get tickets through the fan club and break the hearts of 2 of my daughters (or only one, if I drop them off to go by themselves). I decided I'd just wait for the tickets to go on sale to the public and get them then.

Guess what...4 ticket limit for THOSE, too!! I considered making two purchases, but found out that they (the powers that be) claimed that if you were caught trying to buy more than the 4 ticket limit...they'd cancel ALL of your purchases. I considered asking my mom to buy some with her cc, but then I realized we wouldn't all get to sit together and I'd have to decide who got the pleasure (or curse) of "Mom's" company, I wondered, what kind of family event was I paying for? And, for the amount I'd have had to pay for 6 tickets...I definitely wanted it to be a FAMILY event.

So...I didn't get tickets. My girls are disappointed, but when they found out WHY...their disappointment was in Miley Cyrus' people...not me. And, I'm okay with that! LOL
