I thought the second episode was better than the first, but it just doesn't seem to keep pace with last season. Peter's character should be interesting; kind of like a Superman ... Agree/disagree?

Season 2 is definitely off to a slower start than 1. The two new characters trying to make it to America seems a little pointless.

I agree with the whole Peter story arch. They need to get on with his powers. Whenever he's like "I don't know what to do", I'm reminded of the Greatest American Hero. Hasn't any hero heard of practice? Man, if I discovered a super power (which I often do), I'd just practice it. Start punching stuff. Or, jumping around or something. I wouldn't be like, "I think I'll wait around until I get aggravated and I really need the power to try it."

Absolutely. And there were some really bad effects in episode three (when what's his face was flying with cheerleader girl) ... If studios can't afford to do the effects right, don't do them at all.

Season 2 slower ... that's good a thing. If they kept bringing in new characters like they did in Season 1, I'd need a program just to keep up. Any one notice more than the four Star Trek alum? (George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, Malcom McDowell, Dominic Keating). Did I miss any?

Nice pick up on the Star Trek link, you got Keating, I missed that one. I has to mean something, so far every little thing has meant something starting with last season. I do wish they would pick up the pace a little or at least focus hard on one plot like Peter or "flying kid." The cliff hangers don't seem as interesting as the first season.

I was getting over the twins coming to America - that didn't get interesting until they picked up Sylar (that actor is going to play Spock in the next Star Trek movie - another Star Trek link . . . interesting). Still a Heroes fan - hope it picks back up (but without adding too many more heroes - enough of us around already ;0)

Ok. It's official. I think Season 2 of Heroes sucks. Why do I feel like Lost Season 2 all over again.

  1. Why does Claire keep trying to discover powers that she already discovered when she used to jump off ledges to see if she would heal? Didn't she pull a stake out of her head?
  2. Is Hiro dumb or just dumber? Is he the only person in the whole world who can't see that he is Kensai?
  3. Let's I'm Peter. I can shoot rays out of my hands and heal and do some crazy stuff. I don't want look in my box of answers because I like this fairly average looking girl. Ok.

Heroes Season 2 is not awesome. Here's what I would do to fix it.

  1. Hiro needs to start chopping some heads and then freezing them in mid-air.
  2. Peter needs to turn to the dark side and go all Darth Peter on everyone cause he's just pissed for some reason.
  3. Then, Peter and Hiro need to meet up in a fight to the finish on a soccer field.
  4. All the other heroes needs to go home.

Yeah I'm not feeling it as much this season either. It's just too slow and repetitive -- there hasn't been anything new and shocking. I think Fred's got some good plot ideas there ;)

I am loving all the Star Trek guest stars though. Now they just need to get Patrick Stewart in on it!

First season had it's irritations too - but you always had the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" mantra to hold it together. They just need to get a catch phrase - how about "Powers to the people" (ok that was lame) ya'll think of something better ;0)

So, last night was pretty lame, too, although they did finally reveal who "Adam Monroe" was ... Looks like a good episode next Monday ... kind of reminiscent of season 1's "Six months ago." I'll keep my fingers crossed.
