I liked DeVito as Penguin, and even him being a freak was interesting, but he didn't have anything worthwhile to do. That mayor subplot was ridiculously mishandled, and his death was confusing and dumb.
But I agree about Pfeiffer and Keaton. Great stuff.

as I said in another thread, Die Hard is by far the GREATEST Christmas movie of all time. the rest are, Gremlins, Better off Dead, and Trading places.
