Rockband on PS3
Whoa! Whilst walking thru merry wally world yesterday I came upon a game called Rockband. I love me some Guitar Hero, so I checked out the huge box this game came in and discovered that it came with a guitar a mic and a drum kit! As an addict I had to have it. The price tag was kinda steep, $170, but I shelled it out. Got it home and my wife and I stayed up pretty much all night playing it. You basically get to be a rock band, a drummer, 2 guitarists (even though you need a 2nd guitar and I haven't been able to find one yet) and a singer. You go around from town to town playin gigs and winning money and fans. You can buy things like a van to travel farther, then upgrade to a tour bus or jet. You can win roadies and sound guys. The game is quite addictive. The drums are freakin awesome! On the hard level it's like really playin drums. The guitars are almost like playin Guitar Hero (but the design is much cooler) and the mic is like playin one of those Karaoke games. All in all a righteous game!

I cannot WAIT to get this. They make it for PS2 too, right? I still need to get Guitar Hero 3.

i broke this game out @ a friends house and they were all like "what the hell is that?" after an hour they wouldn't let me leave! that game is addictive, especially the drums.
