I personally have the world's best mother-in-law. But my sister-in-law just received a shopping list from her mother-in-law telling her what to buy for Thanksgiving, with the additional instruction to buy a fresh not a frozen turkey.
My sister-in-law is not a newlywed or new to fixing dinner; she's a 40-year-old mother of 2. So she certainly knows how to make Thanksgiving dinner.
I can't imagine being told what to buy for a holiday dinner that I was hosting. I mean, it sounds like a set-up for a sitcom. I'm sure my sis-in-law was much more gracious than I would have been. How would you have reacted?
Turkey for dinner? How disgusting. :P
