Ease your way into the season with free music, coffee and desserts at a Christmas coffeehouse featuring three local Christian acts at Lewis Creek Baptist Church near Shelbyville.

The Witness praise band will play the Christmas music of MercyMe, Amy Grant and Stephen Curtis Chapman. Trumpeter Garry Lauziere will ring in the season with some instrumentals and Andrea Terrell will shake things up with some black gospel.

The coffeehouse will begin at 6:30 pm Dec. 2. Lewis Creek Baptist Church is located about six miles south of Shelbyville on State Road 9.
