Remember the days of elementary school pictures? You'd wear your favorite outfit, get your hair just right, and your parents would shell out $50 for all those wallets and 2x3s to send out to every relative you have.
Well, my son doesn't do any of that. And thank God I didn't pay for these pictures that he brought home last week. Normally my son is a pretty good-looking kid. Heck, all the girls in the fifth grade like him at his school (or so he and his little sixth grade buddies say). But you wouldn't know it by looking at this picture.

Yikes...don't they do retakes for things like this?
As someone who has seen the kid in person, I do confirm he looks nothing like this. Granted I saw him like two years ago, but still...

Hey, he knows that you have to be able to laugh at yourself. And I'm not laughing at him (and passing it around to everyone I know) to be mean. It's just one of those childhood things that is TOO funny to not share.
