Amy Winehouse was reportedly booed by fans on the first night of her UK tour. Then she shed tears and told the booers that her husband would take care of them as soon as he was released from the clink. I think she should legally change her name to "Troubled Singer". Does anyone think she has singing talent? She sure knows how to get press attention. http://www.nme.com/news/amy-winehouse/32530?loc=interstitialskip

I think she has talent; I do not like the songs she chooses. I also can't tell how sincere or true her voice is...it seems like a neat party trick she can do that gets her attention -- but that's not to say it's not a talent.

I do like her style, but I don't feel like it's her own.

Amy Winehouse ganked Sharon Jones' band for "Back in Black," and you better believe that without them, that album doesn't get half the attention it got.

I like her voice. And I think she had potential, but she's a mess and is probably going to die. When looking at her, it's scary to think she's only 23/24 years old.

I totally dig badgirl Winehouse, and her music.

She wears her unconventionality -- and her penchant for substance abuse -- on her sleeve. If her love of drink messes up her shows that's one thing. But if it doesn't, it's nothing more than a personal choice she has to live with.

As for the tears, well, I can't understand why they'd be deemed unacceptable...Emotion (and drunks for that matter) in rock and roll are pretty commonplace...But, then, maybe emotion is received better when it involves a smashed or blazing guitar.
