check out and join indy's all new figure drawing meetup. first event is a discussion about what we can do with this group. I have just signed onto organize membership is free but requires creating a profile on meetup.com. or not. if you know someone signed on who can let you in on the event and activity dates. I am excited to start an open drawing session as soon as there are some members other than myself and i find an appropriate venue. this activity will charge a sliding scale fee, but will include a live model for 10 - 40 minute posing. I myself am a figure model, and welcome referrals of other models and anyone interested in doing so. the money gathered will go to the model and venue if necessary otherwise entirely to the model. All of this will be discussed at first meetup, which, i am taking ideas on where to hold it. I was thinking a local coffee shop or somewhere quiet, with enough space. feel free to send me comments with ideas.
