New Year's Eve with Rev. Peyton at Spin

Monday, December 31 2007 8PM Spin Nightclub 6308 Guilford Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46220

Butler SCION and A Squared Present:

NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band with Mandy Marie & The Cool Hand Lukes and Jason Webley

Free champagne toast at midnight! Door prizes and giveaways all night long! Free food from Hot Box Pizza! Meet your Naptown Roller Girls!

$15 advance tickets will be available at 10am on 11/17/2007 at Indy CD & Vinyl in Broad Ripple and online at www.brownpapertickets.com

The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is not your typical BLUES band. The live show is amazing, intense, and to quote the Colorado Springs Independent "caused a woman who was crippled for years, climb out of her wheel chair and dance. (true story)" Cincinnati's City Beat calls it "a rousing, hyper and authentic brand of Blues that sounds like what might come out of that secret meth lab nestled deep in the backwaters of the Mississippi Delta."

With only an ordained minister-Kentucky Colonel-wildman virtuoso The Rev. Josh Peyton up front on the national guitar, his wife (the lovely and equally insane Washboard Breezy) on the washboard, and little brother Jayme Peyton keeping time on the kick and snare, this is a band that somehow crosses the barriers between indie rock/punk rock kids, hipsters and the traditional blues fans.

Also appearing will be Many Marie and The Cool Hand Lukes, a band the Rockabilly hall of Fame says "has it all! The voice, attitude, pickin', sound, stage presence and whatever else it takes to become the next big sensation in the Rockabilly and Traditional Country markets. [Mandy Marie] did all but steal the show at the recent Indianapolis Rockabilly Rebel Weekender. When Mandy is on stage, she commands your full attention. She's a much-needed refreshing addition to the scene."

Rounding out the show onstage is Seattle's Jason Webley, a musician who began as a busker, playing accordion in the streets of Seattle, but has since moved in-doors and on stage, playing venues and festivals all across the world. His music is a combination of folk, gypsy, and punk. Webley and the Big Damn Band released an EP together earlier this year titled "2 Bottles Of Wine."

But there is so much more to this party... there will be free food from Hot Box Pizza (thanks Gabe!), lots of great door prizes and a raffle for big big BIG prizes!

Included in the ticket price is a free champagne toast at midnight, and many of your Naptown Roller Girls will be on hand to party with you!

Make your New Year's plans now, and buy your tickets early, as this party will sell out.
