A friend of mine, Ally Millgan (recently moved to the area from St. Louis) and I are organizing a salute to the Beat poets. While the event is still in the planning stages, we know it probably will be held in April 2008 at the Beech Grove Public Library as part of the Heartland Incantations series. What we need are names of individuals who would volunteer to read a poem by a Beat poet. Ideally, with 20 or so readers, this could be a fun time to get to know one another and listen to some great poetry. So, are you interested?
