This week started with a great show at Birdy's Nightclub - The Meat Puppets with serious up-and-comers Ha Ha Tonka opening. More great shows follow throughout the week, so get off your butts and check some of them out. Here is what else you can look for...

Tuesday, Nov. 6th - OK, not music and not Indy, but a can't miss if you're in the area or willing to make the drive south - Comedians Of Comedy tour comes through Bloomington's Buskirk-Chumley Theatre. Patton Oswalt headlines and Brian Posehn will be a highlight.

Wednesday, Nov. 7th - Hip-Hop fans, Ohmega Watts is playing a free show at the Jazz Kitchen this Wednesday night. Ohmega has been to Indy before - he opened for Digable Planets at the Vogue last year - and was fantastic.

Thursday, Nov. 8th - They Might Be Giants with Oppenheimer opening will be at The Vogue this Thursday night.

Friday, Nov. 9th - Alena Diane at Radio Radio. She's got a voice that will melt your heart.

Friday, Nov. 9th - GWAR at The Vogue - Listen, these guys will never be lauded for their musical prowness, but it's one of those types of shows everyone should witness before they die. The spectacle will make the music bearable.

Friday, Nov. 9th - Saturday Nights at The Melody Inn - former Old Pike bassist Jason Brammer's latest project.

Saturday, Nov. 10th - Robyn Hitchcock will be playing the Music Mill

Saturday, Nov. 10th - Exit Clov, Le Concorde, Everthus the Deadbeats, Cabin, and Lord of the Yum Yum at Birdys Bar & Grill
