I appreciate little tidbits about famous people from time to time, who doesn't? But I have to say I could care less if Britney Spears is pregnant again or that her "friends" are encouraging her to abort. First of all: I am not sure I believe it and secondly: Why does anyone need to know?

I get the part where we live in a media driven society and that people, for whatever reason, want to know these things, but I don't understand why anyone cares if Marie Osmond is dating more than one guy. I don't want to know who is getting married, breaking up or having a baby. I swear, the celeb gossip rags act like no one has ever had a baby before!

Was it always this bad or has it become significantly worse?
