While I am in an 80's kind of mood...I got to thinking about the TV shows that simply disappeared from the screen with no explanation, no rhyme or reason. Of course now we have the Internet to back us up and give us real time info on the status of shows all the time, but there were some interesting shows that I would still like someone to answer for.

For example, there was a short lived TV version of Fast Times at Ridgemont High that was on when I was 13...I really liked it (Then again, I was 13 so maybe I don't know what I was talking about.) There was also this cool show with Jason Bateman called "It's your move" and after Reagan pre-empted part two of the big cliffhanger episode...we never saw it again. (I finally caught what happened in that episode on You Tube...You gotta love that site)

There was of course "Homefront" in the early 90's...awesome show that never found its niche audience and despite Ann Landers or Dear Abby saving it, two and a half seasons was all it got. At least in that case they were able to wrap things up a bit rather than leave everyone hanging.

So what shows do you remember getting pulled too soon?

It's a little more recent and could just be me not paying attention, but I'm not sure why "Veronica Mars" went away. It was a guilty pleasure of mine and something I also made fun of, but it just seemed to disappear.
