RE: sit down, stand up, get your freak on
I’m all for whatever each person feels is warranted, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of others listening. I get a kick out of going to low-key shows at usually standing-only venues to see a bunch of folks lounging on the floor to listen when it makes sense.
I like people who pay attention. (And sometimes, being a shorter person, for me it’s more fun when people sit down because I don’t have to keep poking my head around the really tall guys who always seem to make it to the front).
