RE: Ever Meet Anyone Famous?
On a family trip to California years ago, we were invited (mom was friends with his wife) to stop by and visit Dick Van Dyke and his wife at their home in Encino. I remember him being a friendly guy but his kids wouldn't have anything to do with us. We had to watch them have a great time swimming in the back yard while we sat on the couch. It would have been cool if he would have tripped over the footstool but it didn't happen.
