The Office: Hot or NOT?

The Office. Say that to someone and the first response you will most likely get is, "Ohmigosh, I LOVE that show!". But, maybe you'll get a response such as, "Oh...:PPPP." And possibly a "I've always wanted to watch that, but forgot to set my TIVO." or the occasional "What's that?". For me, it would be the first response. And apparently, much of the country agrees with me as well! According to Yahoo! TV, the Average Veiwer rating is 5/5 stars!

So what's the big whoop? Well in my opinion, the script! I think Rainn Wilson is superb (I use this word a lot, possibly overuse it...) in his role as Dwight Schrute. But it's not just him either. The entire cast does an amazing job making this seem quite real,in the sense that this is a documentry.

Now I know what you're thinking. "Oh, that's just HER opinion,". Well, here some reviews the prove my point...

"The Office is my favorite show on tv...leaves me wanting more...unbelieveably funny."

"Hands down, there is no other reason to watch TV..."

See what I mean? TIVO it! Or if you're like me, with a VCR, tape it! Give it a try. Thing is, it's more verbal humor, in the dialouge. You have to "listen" for it...

And if you already watch it, what is your opinion? I really wanna know what the Hoosier state thinks!

Yes, The Office is indeed funny. Your internal humor-meter is functioning properly.

I've said it once, I'm saying it again: the funniest show on TV: The Office. The funniest show on TV: 30 Rock. That's not a typo. They're tied for funniest show on TV, and they are both on the same station on the same night in consecutive timeslots.

I agree with Joe, it is a dead heat with those two shows....OK, maybe a slight advantage to "30 Rock" due to Tina Fey.

Thanks! One more thing both of those shows are is shut down because of the writer's strike. :(

I love the office!! My roommate and I went out and bought the first two seasons to catch up and watched them marathon style. :) I DVR both the office and Grey's Anatomy.

I love The Office! We all have worked with one of the characters in the past. Makes me giggle! Poor kitty in the freezer... Michael carbing up before the race... Michaels announcements... Kelly and her faking being pregnant so Ryan would go on a date again. ALL Favorite moments this season. Bummer we will have reruns for awhile.

Without a doubt, the funniest show on TV. However, I know people that hate it and don't think it's funny at all. WTF? I've promptly de-friended them because that's just crazy talk. They obviously have no idea what funny is.

I can't get enough of it. I TIVO the re-runs on TBS and I have all the season DVD's.

In fact, its the only show that I like so much I actually bought all the season DVD's and watch them repeatedly.
