My Fellow Americans
Some of you may not know that I am running for the Presidency of these United States of America. I am the nominee of the Drunkist Party, an upstart group of inebriated patriots who feel it is time for a change.
My solution to the nation's ills is a simple one: get drunk. It is my experience that there is no problem that can't be made better through the liberal application of alcohol. You say that if you cashed out your 401k right now it wouldn't buy a tank of gas? Have a drink! You say that your job is about to get shipped to Bangalore? Have a drink! You say that your house is on fire? Well, get out quickly, but make sure you bring the bottle with you.
This is no time to take things seriously, my friends. This is no time for sobriety. Vote Drinky in '08. For a future you won't forget. For a night you won't remember.
