Mine was a 1974 Plymouth Valiant. I called it The Green Monster, because it was, um, green. I loved that car dearly and had it for years. It was killed in a tragic accident when I was working as a delivery driver for Dominos.

A gold '69 Buick Skylark that had been under water at some point, but had been fixed and restored. Awesome car. Pretty fast, too, though I didn't open her up that much. It was the "Fine 69" (which was painted on the back of the car on the hood where the name plates go).

It was actually still around as recently as the fall of 2001. I saw it sitting in some guy's driveway off of Shelbyville Rd.

Mind you my first car was just a couple of years ago! '88 Mazda MX6, small coupe, 4 banger... great gas mileage! Everything you could imagine was or went wrong with it! No back breaks, the ball joints & tie rod ends were bad (only one of each got fixed/opposite sides), a bad wheel bearing, the heater core leaked, the gas leaked, the exhuast was deteriorating, at one time it continually "cut out" and had to "two foot" it, the alternator went (was charging the battery every night!)... One day I discover (after just getting gas and and wouldn't start up 20 mins later) that from where you put the nozzle, to the gas tank was just gone! All of a sudden non-existant! Driving this car in upstate NY weather of all places! Finally the fuel pump died... had to say goodbye. Man I miss that car!
