Indy Island Aquatic Center
Until recently, I had no idea that Indy parks had indoor pools open during the Fall season. The Indy Island Aquatic Center is located in Raymond Park at 8575 E. Raymond street. The center is open 4 days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from September 6th through December 21st. Features include a water playhouse with small slide, geysers and lots of spray features, large water slide for folks at least 4 feet tall, a lap lane available at select times and a spa for adults only. The aquatic center is also a cool place to throw a birthday party. Reservations must be booked two weeks in advance. Call 862-6876 for more information. www.indyparks.org
