HOT OR NOT: Are these Lego shoes ugly?

Multi-color, zipped, mesh, buckled peep toe heels. What's your take on these Lego candy biker heels? Would you wear them? Would you buy them? What would you say if you were on a date with a girl who showed up wearing these?

To be fair, Bakers and Steve Madden ripped off the original Balenciaga footwear.

Here's my answer, after thinking about it for many days: They're hot beCAUSE they're not.

Also, why'd you casually leave out the fact that YOU OWN THEM, eh, Nina?

I would think they could approach hotness if the woman had painted each of her toemails to match the various colors of the shoe. It would also depend on what else she wore...the shoes by themselves are not hot but a woman could make them a part of overall hotness by having fun with it.

I think these shoes fall under the category of "hot mess". That said; Hot. I'd wear 'em in a heartbeat, though I do like the originals better.

This is just bad all the way around though some of the fashions I have seen on Sex and the City are just as fugly so myabe I just don't get fashion.

Actually, you probably aren't too far off. I am somewhat of a fashion guru and these shoes are awful. And although "Sex and the City" is supposed to be fashion forward, there are times when they are off course. However, fashion is also a matter of opinion and personal style, so there are fine lines between right and wrong a lot of the time.

I think they're pretty hot. And for 50 bucks on sale at bakers, I definitely bought them to try them. They're pretty crazy, but pretty sweet. Besides, fashion is what you make of it, right? I say, keep the outfit simple like beyonce did, with some colorful earrings and you're set. Still would prefer the originals though, hands down.
