I've actually found myself bored enough to watch this a few times lately. I'm sad that the big puppet people got the boot. I've, ahem, never seen anything like them before. I'm also sad that there are no magician's left. They make my blues DISAPPEAR! I guess of the remaining folks, my favorite is Nuttin' But Stringz. For those who haven't seen the show, they are two guys who play violin with a hip hop attitude. It's very intense stuff. I don't know that I could stand it for more than about 10 minutes, but it would be a fun ten minutes. Also, they don't spell very well.

Has anyone else watched this show? Any favorites?

Never watched the show, but I love Nuttin' But Stringz--saw them for the first time on some daytie talkshow a couple of years ago.

Here's their last performance. You have to sit through a minute of reality show fluff before it kicks in.

Ah--they've added a "show" to their performance. i think they were closer to 16 when I first saw them and they had none of the movement choreography going on yet. It'd be interesting to see how they work out a full set--it could get really dull or they could be really spectacular.

Yeah, they'd need a little more dynamic range to sustain a show. You've got to give the audience a chance to catch their breath, or you will fry their brains and force them to tune out. Of course, this show is just a series of auditions where they are trying to wow everyone. They may have the range but just aren't showing it at the moment.
