I hate the one for Honda West where the employees are mouthing the words to the song. That song is ridiculous, and they look really silly doing that. I totally agree with Andy Mohr and the Watson's girl too.
What is it about car dealer commercials? Are they required to walk around the car lot squinting into the sun and shouting at us?
But I can still sing their commercial jingles: "Old Bob Rohrman was a good friend of mine -- he traded my way." And here's a real oldie (you'd have to have grown up around here listening to AM radio (Right On WIFE) to remember this one: "Think Smart. Think Smart and Perry Ford. Drive out and save with Jack and Dave on the Smart and Perry freeway."

Ya, I hear ya Ben. Those Watsons commercials are annoying. Ya, "That's Watsons" alright.
I actually saw a Watson's commercial WITHOUT the girl last night. It was kind of strange. Just a canned male voice. It seemed like they almost needed her --or somebody. I might not have even noticed it if I hadn't read this post the other day.
Something else occurred to me. They could have replaced her years ago, but they haven't. Even during her pregnancy, they just shot her from the neck up.
OK, Meg was a really nice girl and part of the INtake street team thing for awhile, but those Andy Mohr (right?) commercials absolutely drive me batty. Can't stand them.
It's not Meg any longer, it's McKenzie! Or wait, Radio Now is no longer, so it is Meg Roth. Meg is very nice. And sooo much better than the Watson's girl.
Any of the "Hello Kahlo" commercials, cause you know that dude is drunk (allegedly), The Honda West ones really bother me too, why does that guy always hold his hand to his ear at the end? There's also the Buddy's Carpet cxommercial with the Blonde thats all hopped up on diet pills or something (allegedly) chill chick chill! Mkes me think of Pulp Fiction "Tell that b*tch to chill!"
I cannot stand the Broad Ripple Heating commercials. I can find solace in the fact that it is only a radio commercial and I don't have to see the annoying girl talking.

Meg McKinzie. Meg was one of my students at IU, and yes, she was a sweetheart, called herself "Stinkkpot Meg" when she knew she'd been missing too many classes because of travel for modeling gigs.
I've never liked the Watson's girl. How did she become a local celebrity again?
Ya, I hear ya Ben. Those Watsons commercials are annoying. Ya, "That's Watsons" alright.
I can think of 2 reasons.
Ditzy, cornfed blonde selling swimming pools in a bikini -- annoying? Yep. Marketing genius in the heartland? Unfortunately, yep.
Atta Boy plumbers have the most annoying commercial I can think of. Also can't stand the feminine sound of Andy Mohr's voice.
I hate that the Menards theme song gets stuck in my head.. Also that one Peter Francis Geraci guy... CHEEAAPPPTTER 13
I always hated the 444-4444 commercials. Right on with the Peter Francis Geraci ones too!

What's the car dealer who smiles really big into the camera at the end of commercial? He really creeps me out.

Don't they all do that?
Don't they all do that?
Good call..
I can think of 2 reasons.
2 reasons...hummm....are they named left and right?

Who is Meg?
The blonde in those car commercials. Seems she's become a regular. Can't remember her last name to save my life.

Any commercial in which a car dealer implores me to come on down.
Whatever happened to Don from Don's Guns? I haven't seen him in a while. That might be my favorite local one, for sheer teeth value.
This all reminds me of something I read recently. A blog about the most memorable TV commercials. Kind of surprising. Valtrex anyone?

The Newport Outlet commercials were especially obnoxious. Is that place still around?

Great...now I have "you've got a buddy in the carpet business" in my head, but hopefully you do too, so I'm not the only one suffering ;)
I hate the 5/3 Bank radio commercials myself. "I like that...that...that....alright(alright)...."
Great...now I have "you've got a buddy in the carpet business" in my head, but ...
Muhahahahahahah! (My evil laugh!) That chick is a bit too enthusiastic about carpet!

Um, how about good ol attorney Kenn Nunn ...snaps those fingers and says "It's just that easy!"
