I thought of this topic when I stumbled across this optical abortion:

http://www.g4tv.com/hurl/splash....

That's right it's a game show on the cable channel G4 called Hurl! in which contestants eat stuff until they puke. This got me thinking about other awful attempts at televised entertainment.

Remember Cop Rock? If you do, I'm sure you remember it as a joke. They tried to make a cop show musical. They really did:

So, what about the rest of youse? What are your least favorite television shows of all time?

I saw Hurl! a few weeks ago, and not discussing the subject matter, the show was awful. The episode I saw was a competition to see who could a.) eat the most and b.)endure the most without throwing up. The only problem was that the competition was far from fair. The guy who ate the most didn't get any advantage from eating the most, even though the show seemed to suggest he did. The whole thing looked like a project for a college class. On a related note, they covered the footage of the actual vomit. Does anyone know if that's an FCC thing that prohibits the airing of bodily fluid expulsion? Personally, I think watching a fake shooting is worse than seeing real vomit.

Tila Tequila and any VH1 reality series that is a show (New York Goes to Hollywood) based off a show (I Love New York) based off a show (Flavor of Love) based off a show (Strange Love) based off a show (Surreal Life) based off a former quasi celebrity (Flavor Flav). Epic fail....TV for an A.D.D. nation folks.

Come on VH1, come up with some original ideas already!

I agree, Victory. And the fact that they can still call them "reality" is sad. When you have a bunch of people competing for a celebrity's "heart" or put a bunch of old has-beens in a house and video tape it, I have a hard time seeing the reality of it. It might be real that some of these people are constantly competing in life for someone's love or a moment of fame, but they don't actually live together have to thrust together 24/7 in real life. It's even more sad that these shows still exist because they have a significant amount of viewers. Seriously, who watches some of that crap?
