The Rude Mechanical Orchestra, a 30 piece brass band and dance troupe from NYC will make a special stop at IndyFringe Wednesday, August 27. They will perform at the FringeCentral Outdoor Stage from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m at 748 Massachusetts Avenue. The band is presented at IndyFringe in partnership with Piradical Productions.

In August 2008, the Rude Mechanical Orchestra is taking their show on the road - in a low-impact, environmentally-friendly manner (no stretch SUV limo for us). They converted a school bus to run on waste veggie oil and will be traveling cross country for a two-week adventure -- to cross-pollinate with progressive grassroots organizations and other amazing movers and shakers. Along the journey, they plan to raise awareness about and support groups and individuals fighting against racism, sexism, homophobia, war and violence in all its forms.

The Budabi Brothers will show off their juggling skill following the performance.

The event is FREE, but donations for both travelling groups are encouraged!
