I recently pulled a Twin Peaks marathon, and watching Kyle MacLachlan down that much coffee made me thirsty. I've done Starbucks (who hasn't?), Nordstrom, Abbey. Any other suggestions?
Oh, and I've been to Cups several times, too.
Went to Patachou on the Park today. Help-yourself coffee allows one to keep him/herself fully caffeinated. Decent selection beyond regular or decaf.
My faves:
Taste on College and 52nd. Monon Coffee Company in Broad Ripple
Cornerstone (connected to Moe and Johnny's on College and 54th.
But I'll also drink Speedway coffee if push comes to shove.
For a real java jolt, try Cornerstone's signature Black Thunder. Perk Up, tucked off the beaten path in Broad Ripple, is a pleasant place to hang out.
dunkin' donuts!!!!!!! The Black Thunder gets my vote too.
Magical,
I just bought a pound of DD beans in Carmel. A friend said you can get their beans at Walgreens, too.
Don't forget our other local, Hubbard & Craven's. Only drawback is their hours (I leave for work before 6:30 a.m.).
Anyone know of a place in the city that serves French-press tableside? I recently had this at a spot in Dallas, and can't remember seeing that offered any place I've dined in Indy.
dunkin' donuts!!!!!!! The Black Thunder gets my vote too.
Dunkin' Donuts has the best plain black coffee. If I'm getting an Americano, then I'll hit up Starbucks (56th and Lafayette represent).
I have to agree with Dunkin Donuts, but I will go out of my way to get gas at BP Gas Stations. They have some wonderfully mediocre gas station coffee.
I love Hubbard & Craven's - good and local. Starbucks makes me feel a little wonky. Always drink it black.
Cups' French Roast or Sixth Avenue Bistro has gotten me zestily through many a longish afternoon at my workplace up the street.
Any of Patachou's single origin coffees are good. My personal favorite is the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.
Hubbard & Craven's has a great one called "Forces Collide". Good deep coffee flavor. Used to brew Starbucks Verona, but not any more.
