Helping to spread good cheer were the ladies from the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter NS DAR who wrapped presents for Borders at both the Greenwood and Fashion Mall locations. Donations from the generous customers helped purchase comfort items and telephone cards for our soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan who are recuperating at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany as part of their Project Patriot program. Shown at the Greenwood Borders’ location were south side coordinator, Janet Shelton, Jennifer Capps and Eleanor Columbe. ( Photo provided by Joann Wasson )
