Hamilton Southeastern High School Volleyball Team won the Warren Central Invite, including eight other teams from the Indianapolis area, on Sept. 20, 2008.  

HSE defeated Perry Meridian 25-7 and 25-15 in its first pool match and Scecina 25-14 and 25-19 in the second. 

In the first cross-over match of the gold bracket, HSE battled Heritage Christian 25-21, 22-25 and 24-26.  In the next match HSE lost to Carmel.

In a "do or die" situation, HSE defeated Carmel in the next match for the championship 25-23 and 25-11.
