Residents of the apartment complex gathered to hear several local ministers speak at the vigil. A prayer vigil was held Wednesday  for DeAngelo Hawkins, 12, who was wounded by a bullet near his home in the Beechwood Gardens Apartments in the 2900 block of Pricilla Avenue.
