Five Indianapolis and Carmel dance students recently attended the KAR ALL STAR KIDS National Dance Convention in New York City.  They were selected to participate in the convention when they performed routines at the Kids Artistic Revue Dance Competition in Lousville, KY last March.  They are students at the Carmel Dance Arts/ Indy Latin Dance Center and Members of Indiana Dance Ambassadors located in Carmel.  The five-day convention included a dance workshop and a "mock audition" taught by the World Famous Radio City Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.  They also attended classes at two of New York's premier dance studios, The Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway.  The convention is coordinated by Artistic Adventures of California.
 
The photo was taken at Tavern On The Green Restaurant in New York's Central Park.  The girls were attending the closing night ceremony on July 27, 2008.
