This was taken of my grandson at the Apple Barn in Gatlinburg, TN on Mar. 30, 2008. His name is Harrison, and he was soon to turn four years old on April 25th.
We had just told him no to an ice cream cone since it was close to dinner. He ran off saddened into a grove of trees. I went to get him as the others walked on to another shop. He didn't see me coming. I found him playing quietly with this dandelion . I felt, truly, that I had walked into a child's world as the Tennesee sun began to set!
He was captured in this moment of childhood wonderment, as was I!

He was not happy that we had told him no to ice cream at that particular time of day. He ran off saddened, and I went to look for him while the rest of the family walked on to another shop.
He didn't know that I was anywhere around. He had picked a dandelion, and he was in another world as the sun was beginning to set. I felt that I had, truly, captured a moment in a child's life!! ( Photo submitted by Sara E. Wible )
