After a two-mile round-trip hike into woods on the southside of Indianapolis, I spotted through the binoculars an American Bald eagles nest.  After arriving and taking a much-needed rest, I was getting my camera gear ready and in swooped the first of a pair {male /female} American Bald Eagle.  The photo was taken April 2 in the woods near Southport Road and Mann Road.
