In 2007, Mike Soper let his entrepreneurial spirit soar and founded Soper+Smith Advertising LLC. He is a former partner of MZD Advertising where he rose through the ranks to become Sr. VP | Creative Director and his award-winning expertise inspired him to create successful campaigns for Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation (6 years) , Indiana RESPECT (6 years), Indiana State Fair (19 years), Hoosier Lottery (9 years), Citizen Gas (15 years) and Coca-Cola(15 years).
Mike combines experience and free-thinking to produce dynamic and targeted creative campaigns. His experience comes from an impressive career solving tough problems with a mix of marketing savvy and creative flair. His print and broadcast work has been awarded many creative awards including local, regional and national ADDYs. His agency credentials include Ogilvy Mather,Chicago; HCM(Marsteller), Chicago, Intermedia, Cincinnati, and MZD, Indianapolis.
His client work on branding and awareness campaigns read like a Who's Who for advertising success stories: Cessna Aircraft, Sears Bank and Trust, Procter Gamble, Schwinn Bikes, Hickory Farms of Ohio, Culligan, Jim Beam and Wagner Power Painter.
Mike attended Northern Kentucky State College and graduated with honors from the Central Academy of Commercial of Art in Cincinnati. Mike has one son, also named Mike, and enjoys spending time with him enjoying the arts, music and golf. Not to mention the opportunity and challenges to begin anew with the start of Soper+Smith Advertising LLC.
