Hey, I just saw that you too was raised in Germany. How would you compare Koeln to Indy? And how did you like the "Koelsch" beer? lol

Yeah, Koeln is comparable to Indy as both are old conservative and growing surburban cities with a growing immigrants contingent. The increase of racism and the Nazis are a growing issue in Germany. Another reason why I decided to say goodbye. But on the other side the increasing appearances of nooses in the US is troublesome as well. Not to mention the Bush administration. It appears at times that the more socio-economical discrepancies the more racism and fascism florish everywhere. I agree with the Arts and Culture education in Europe, the knowledge of a number of Americans here about other cultures is dissapointing. And hey, German beers are among the best in the world. Try some sometimes at the Ratskeller.
