    Sandi Patty will perform at the University of Indianapolis Sunday, April 27. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center's Ruth Lilly Performance Hall. "Breaking Ground" a photography exhibition by local artist Susan Fleck is on display through May 9 at the University of Indianapolis. The exhibition explores the often overlooked beauty of rural landscapes. The exhibition explores the often overlooked beauty of rural landscapes. The park-like Smith Mall is located at the heart of UIndy’s campus. UIndy’s oldest building, Good Hall is located on the south side of Hanna Avenue and houses the Recital Hall and Ransburg Gallery. The Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center Art Gallery houses 6-7 art exhibitions annually, featuring prominent local and regional artists, as well as some national/international exhibitions. The Ruth Lilly Performance Hall, located in UIndy’s Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center, hosts a number of concerts and performances each year, many of which are free. The hall was masterfully designed so that every detail of construction, from the seat padding to the concert walls, maximizes the acoustic performance, making the auditorium feel full, regardless of audience size. Looking for great jazz music? Check out UIndy, home of the Jazz Artist Series, a collection of monthly informal concerts with local jazz artists; Jazz Week, a full week of jazz at the end of February featuring different acts each night of the week; and the WICR Jazz Festival, a day-long outdoor event in mid-April.
