Long time now see Quincy. Hope everything's well!
If you're looking for something just totally wacked out and out there, I'd recommend either "Funny Games" or "Doomsday." But beware, these are both pretty oddball movies, and both are pretty unique in plotting and in subject matter.
If you want strictly Hollywood formula-type movies, you could try "21," which has moments of fun and charm, but is mostly formulaic and dull.
Unfortunately it's a bad time of the year for movies and there's not a lot that's great out there. The summer season is getting ready to start up in the next month or so, so hold on!
"In Bruges" is still (barely) going at Landmark (Keystone Art). That's a pretty good movie, but only a late show is screening as of today.
I do indeed! Looking at them right this second. What, did you think we'd get rid of them?! ;)
Hey Quincy, why don't you find my number and give me a call when you have a chance. I have an idea. It's called 'Do the right thing.'
Always great to have another artist on the site. Thanks for your participating. Let me know if you have any questions about the site.
Quincy,
Business is good this year. After a rough year last year, this year has been phenomenal so far. The only challenge is how to keep up the pace and end really strong. we are having a gallery hop tonight with about 4 other south side galleries beginning at 6 and ending at 9. you can see more info about the hop at www.southsidegalleryhop.com. (we design and update this site) We are featuring the work of John Strickland. He has provided us with about 20 pieces from 3' x 3' to 4 x 8. His stuff looks phenomenal in here, so I hope you can make it for a few minutes.
Let me know if you'll be coming by.
Have a great day!
Stefan
