Illinois farmboy, loved to collect rocks, bugs, old things, broken things. Moved to Upstate NY after college for photography, became a curator, art collector, traveler, gardener. Moved back to the midwest because I missed the spring storms and hated the snow in Upstate NY. Love the museums, galleries, storms of the midwest!

Ready for what some might refer to as blatant self-promotion? Here goes I want to personally invite some Indy.com "art fans" to stop by an art exhibit that will have two of my works in it. The exhibit, titled "Elegant Funk", will be at Wug Laku's Studio & Garage, Circle City Industrial Complex, 1125 Brookside Ave., Suite c7. The exhibit is a part of IDADAs First Friday event, Friday August 1, 5-9 pm.
To get to the gallery, drive NE on Mass Ave to where it "Ts" at 10th street just after the art district. Turn east onto 10th, then turn north at the second traffic light (Brookside). Look for the banner. Plenty of parking will be on the right, gallery on the left. For more info:
