Today:
Merrily, life is but a dream (it seems). follow this dream in a gentle way downriver and relax, as this is just all some perception of events, some network of invisible and visible hints and senses that somehow form a congruous cloud. particles charged and connecting and disconnecting in a exhilarating diastole.
When I turned 26, I got an E.T. tattoo. Like everyone else, I was thinking about something tribal or a design or something. Then, as things go, I asked someone who probably serves as a better mirror than my imagination, my brother, and he drew up an E.T. tattoo. I got it two days later.
I've been rummaging around Indianapolis since birth, with many stints elsewhere, looking, watching, working, smiling, walking, driving with the people in the city.
I've worked in the pr, marketing, design, printing, advertising world since I got out of college, and am now headed back to school on a path to medical school. I have self-published two collections of poetry, and a third is slated to come out at the beginning of next year. In the meantime, you'll probably find me puttering around BroadRipple, playing and talking about music, and moving steadily along at a quick pace.
Thanks for your note, and thanks for the interest. Here is somewhere this might take you - I am hosting an art contest...details are at ...

Hi ho doldrum! It's fall again, and as the weather is getting colder, it's time to curl up and say a Slainte! with our old ...
Might I ask where the E.T. fascination began? Congrats for not opting for a cliche tribal tat, though. Make a statement. :)
I asked myself "Why don't I attempt to create a dialog with all of the other people who have "art" as one of their tags?" Though not knowing where the move might take me, I felt that the tag alone was reason enough to become a fan of yours. Essex
Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
